Regarded as one of the greatest winemakers in the world, Bruno Giacosa represents the third generation of his family to produce wine at their estate, founded in 1871. Leaving school at the age of 15 during the First World War, he dedicated his life to perfecting his craft. Initially, Giacosa sourced grapes exclusively from select vineyards, and by the 1960s, he was recognized as one of the top three most significant wine producers in Barbaresco.
While many producers focus solely on either Barbaresco or Barolo, Giacosa has consistently crafted exceptional wines from both regions for nearly half a century.
