More About The Producer

Chateau Bellevue Mondotte is a small, elite wine estate located in the Saint-Émilion appellation on Bordeaux's Right Bank. Though tiny in size it has gained a reputation for producing world-class wines since it came under the ownership of Gérard Perse in 2001. Perse is the same renowned figure behind Château Pavie - a Premier Grand Cru Classé A estate. One of Perse's first priorities was to focus on improving the vineyard. The vines are mostly Merlot (90%), with smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc (5%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%).
