Allegrini is a family run producer to this day, thanks to the work of Giovanni Allegrini who laid the foundation within Fumane by instilling a deep respect for traditional techniques like the Appasimento winemaking method, as well as a highlighting the traditional varieties of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara. A highlight of Allegrini is their willingness to vinify select Cru's to showcase how terroir and site can subtlety alter characters of Corvina dominant wines.
