More About The Producer

Champagne Geoffroy, established in the 17th century in Cumières, Vallée de la Marne, is a family-owned winery with a rich history spanning over 400 years. In the 1950s, Roger Geoffroy and his wife Julienne transitioned from selling grapes to producing their own Champagne, founding the Roger Geoffroy brand. Their son, René Geoffroy, expanded the estate, and in the 1980s, Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy joined the family business, further elevating the winery's reputation. Today, Jean-Baptiste and his wife Karine oversee the operations, continuing the family's winemaking legacy.

The estate spans 14 hectares across Premier Cru sites in Cumières, Hautvillers, Damery, and Fleury-la-Rivière, with a vineyard composition of 42% Pinot Noir, 39% Pinot Meunier, and 19% Chardonnay. Among their esteemed cuvées is the "Volupté," a Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru Extra Brut crafted from Chardonnay grapes. This wine undergoes fermentation in oak barrels, imparting complexity and depth, and is aged for several years to develop its distinctive character.

Under the guidance of Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy, the winery emphasizes sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention winemaking. This philosophy ensures that each Champagne reflects the unique terroir of the Vallée de la Marne, offering wines that are both elegant and expressive. The Geoffroy family's dedication to quality and tradition has solidified their position as respected producers in the Champagne industry.
