More About The Producer

Bollinger was established in 1829 by Jacques Bollinger and his wife, Léonie. The house started as a small family-run business in Aÿ, a village in the Champagne region of France. Bollinger quickly became known for its distinctively genorous style - characterized by a higher proportion of Pinot Noir in its blends that contributes to the rich and robust character of its wines. The house has expanded its vineyard holdings and acquired some of the best crus in the Champagne region, including prestigious vineyards in Aÿ, Verzy, and Verzenay. In 2008, the Bollinger family took full ownership of the house, reinforcing its commitment to independence and maintaining high standards of quality.

The jewel in the crown for Bollinger is the 'La Cote aux Enfants' a miniscule production Champagne made exclusively from pre-phylloxera rootstock which is unique to the region of Champagne
