More About The Producer

Chateau Lafite Rothschild is one of the royalties of the wine world, classified one of ony five First Growth producers in Bordeaux and arguably the most prestigious wine in Bordeaux.

Bearer of a long wine tradition initiated in 1620, the estate has assertively carried the banner of the Pauillac appellation on the Left Bank of the Bordeaux region for centuries. Chateau Lafite over the centuries has acquired the nickname "Wine of the King" because it's been reported that King Louise VIII, Cardinal Richelieu and even American President Thomas Jefferson favourite wine was Chateau Lafite Rothschild.

The wines are known for their elegance, finesse, and age-worthy structure. Typically dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and evolve beautifully with age.
