In 1953, Alexis Lichine—renowned as the “Pope of Wine”—gave the property its current name and expanded its vineyards by 10 hectares in Arsac. Careful soil studies have since allowed the team to optimize grape varieties and fully express the character of each plot, ensuring the quality and identity of its wines.
