That pioneering spirit never left him. His early career took him to the hallowed regions of Bordeaux, Burgundy, Barolo, and Priorat, working in some of the most prestigious wineries in the world such as Chateau Mouton Rothschild, Domaine Comtes Lafon and G.D Vajra. During his career, Stephen has been the reciptent of several prestigious awards including Gourmet Traveller Winemaker of the Year, International Red Winemaker of the Year, Jimmy Watson Tropy twice, Max Schubert Tropy twice and four time winner of the Bushing King Tropy which represents the Best Red Wine in Mclaren Vale. Located in McLaren Vale, a region celebrated for its Mediterranean climate and diverse soils, S.C.
