More About The Producer

Moss Wood one of the elite producers from Margaret River in Western Australia. Established in 1969 by Clive and Sheila Otto, the Otto family planted their first vines on the estate's 32-hectare property in the Wilyabrup Valley—one of Margaret River's most prestigious sub-regions for viticulture. Clive Otto, originally a vineyard consultant, and Sheila Otto, a passionate wine lover, saw great potential in the Wilyabrup terroir, which offered perfect conditions for growing premium varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Merlot. The Otos set out to create wines that combined the best of the Old World and New World traditions—focusing on quality, terroir, and craftsmanship. Over the years, Moss Wood has earned a reputation for producing wines with an unmistakable style: wines that are elegant, structured, and age-worthy, with a balance of fruit intensity and finesse.
