More About The Producer

Poderi Luigi Einaudi is a historic winery located in Dogliani, Piedmont, Italy, renowned for its exceptional Dolcetto and Barolo wines. Founded in 1897 by Luigi Einaudi, who later became the first President of the Italian Republic, the estate has been a cornerstone of Italian viticulture for over a century. Luigi Einaudi's vision and dedication to quality laid the foundation for a winery that would become synonymous with excellence in winemaking.

The winery's portfolio includes a range of distinguished wines, with a particular emphasis on Dolcetto, a varietal that thrives in the Dogliani region. Notable offerings include the **Dogliani DOCG**, a wine that embodies the rich, fruity character of Dolcetto, and the **Dogliani Superiore DOCG Madonna Delle Grazie Vigna Tecc**, which showcases the depth and complexity achievable from this grape. In addition to Dolcetto, Poderi Einaudi produces exceptional Barolo wines, such as the **Barolo DOCG Monvigliero**, reflecting the estate's commitment to showcasing the diverse terroirs of the Langhe region.

Today, the winery is managed by Luigi Einaudi's great-grandson, Matteo Sardagna, who continues the family's tradition of excellence in winemaking. Under his leadership, with the expertise of winemaker Beppe Ca Viola, Poderi Luigi Einaudi remains dedicated to producing wines that honor the legacy of its founder while embracing modern viticultural practices.
