More About The Producer

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC) is one of the most prestigious and sought-after wineries in the world, located in Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy. The domaine's history dates back to the 13th century, and it has been under the ownership of the de Villaine and Leroy/Roch families since the 20th century.

DRC wines are known for their complexity, longevity, and rarity, with extremely limited production and high global demand. The estate has received countless accolades, and its bottles regularly achieve record-breaking prices at auctions. A single bottle of 1945 Romanée-Conti sold for $558,000 in 2018, making it one of the most expensive wines ever sold.

"Readers will find a racy, hedonistic Burgundy that will drink well with minimal cellaring. What a wine!"

- Antonio Galloni
