More About The Producer

Le Ragnaie is a renowned winery nestled in the heart of Montalcino, Tuscany, famed for its exceptional Brunello di Montalcino. Founded in 2002 by Riccardo Campinoti, the estate spans 28 hectares, divided across three distinct parcels, each offering its own unique terroir. Together with his wife Jennifer, Riccardo has cultivated the vineyards using organic practices, allowing the land's true character to shine through in every bottle.

The winery’s standout offerings are its single-vineyard Brunello di Montalcino, particularly the 'Vigna Vecchia' and 'Passo del Lume Spento' cuvées. These wines are crafted from Sangiovese Grosso grapes grown in the estate's highest-altitude vineyards, with some reaching elevations of up to 621 meters. This altitude imparts an exceptional freshness and finesse, giving Le Ragnaie’s Brunello a distinctive elegance that sets it apart from other wines in the region.

Under Riccardo’s careful stewardship, Le Ragnaie has earned widespread acclaim for its medium-bodied, subtly oaked wines that strike a perfect balance between approachability and aging potential. The estate’s unwavering commitment to organic farming and traditional winemaking methods ensures each wine authentically expresses the unique terroir of Montalcino, delivering wines that are as captivating in their youth as they are in their maturity.
