More About The Producer

Champagne Oudiette, established nearly a century ago in the village of Beaunay, is a family-owned estate dedicated to crafting exceptional Champagnes that reflect the unique terroir of the Côte des Blancs. The estate is managed by the Oudiette family—Maxime, Pascal, and Sylvie—who have meticulously cultivated their vineyards through generations, adhering to traditional viticultural practices. Maxime Oudiette, who joined the family estate in 2012, brings a modern and bold vision to Champagne viticulture, integrating organic, biodynamic, and permaculture practices to create a symbiotic relationship between the land, the vine, and the wine.

The estate's vineyards, primarily planted with Chardonnay, are situated on clay over chalk soils, imparting the wines with a distinctive roundness, full-bodied structure, and natural minerality. Maxime's philosophy emphasizes minimal intervention, allowing each cuvée to express its individual terroir. Notable wines include the "Les Gras d'Huile," a Blanc de Blancs Champagne that showcases the elegance and complexity achievable through meticulous vineyard management and traditional winemaking techniques.

Champagne Oudiette's commitment to quality and sustainability is evident in their certification as Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) Level 3, reflecting their dedication to environmental stewardship and biodiversity in the vineyard. By embracing both tradition and innovation, the Oudiette family continues to produce Champagnes that honor their heritage while appealing to contemporary palates.
