Barossa Valley

The Barossa Valley's roots date back to the 1840s, when German settlers planted the first vines. Since then, it has grown to become one of Australia’s most important and renowned wine regions, known for its rich heritage and innovative spirit. The Valley isn't just famous; it’s iconic Australian, producing wines that have graced tables and tantalized taste buds globally.

Barossa is celebrated for its robust and full-bodied reds, particularly Shiraz, which has become synonymous with the region. But don't be fooled by the dominance of Shiraz; Barossa also excels with Grenache, Mourvèdre (Mataro), and Cabernet Sauvignon.

One of Barossa’s crown jewels is its ancient vineyards with some of these incredible sites planted over 150 years ago. These vineyards produce grapes that contribute to the region's distinctive powerful and complex wines.
