More About The Producer

Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande (often called Pichon Comtesse) is the “sister estate” of Pichon Baron, both originally part of the Longueville family property in Pauillac.

The estate was founded in the late 17th century and split from Pichon Baron in 1850. It is renowned for wines that balance Pauillac’s power with a softer, more elegant and feminine style, often due to its higher proportion of Merlot.

The chateau has built a reputation for consistency and refinement, with its Grand Vin prized for aromatic complexity, silky texture, and long ageing potential and has been nicknamed “the feminine side of Pauillac” due to its elegance.
