"If I had to choose one wine to show how great German riesling can be I would choose a Keller riesling. Those wines are the German Montrachets" - Jancis Robinson MW
Nestled in the heart of Rheinhessen, Germany’s largest wine-growing region, Weingut Keller is a name that resonates with reverence among fine wine collectors and sommeliers worldwide. The estate’s story begins in 1789, when Johann Leonhard Keller, fleeing the upheaval of the French Revolution, settled in Flörsheim-Dalsheim and acquired the now-iconic Oberer Hubacker vineyard.
Today, under the guidance of Klaus Peter Keller, the winery is known for producing some of the most sought-after dry Rieslings in the world. These wines aren’t just technically brilliant—they carry a sense of place, shaped by the limestone soils of vineyards like Morstein, Abtserde, and Kirchspiel. Each bottle tells a story of low yields, careful selection, and a winemaker who walks his vineyards with intention.
Keller is more than a name on a bottle. It represents a philosophy built on patience, precision, and a deep connection to the land. These wines invite you to slow down and pay attention. They are crafted to age, to evolve, and to inspire conversation.
