The 2015 Meursault Village, which comes mostly from Clos de Baronne, was ready for bottling (essentially the finished wine). It has a crisp lime flower and red apple scented bouquet, later just a hint of grilled almond that enhanced the complexity. The palate is well balanced with a fine line of acidity that cuts through the surprisingly mineral-rich citrus fruit. There is a lovely saline tang that lingers on the finish. Enjoy this lovely, well-crafted Meursault over the next six to eight years
